Get ready for the wildest show in baseball.
The banana ball tour, a fast-paced, fans-first style of baseball made famous by the Savannah Bananas, is a well-known showcase.
It is making its first-ever stop at Pelicans Ballpark in Myrtle Beach.
The Loco Beach Coconuts play the Indianapolis Clowns in March 2027.
Tickets go to a lottery closing October 31.

- March 18-20, 2027: Banana Ball World Tour at Pelicans Ballpark (the Coconuts vs. Clowns games are listed for March 19 and 20)
Banana Ball in 60 Seconds
Banana Ball is baseball with the slow parts removed. The rules include:
- No bunting
- A two-hour time limit for each game
- Fans can catch foul balls for outs
- Batters can steal first base
- A one-on-one tiebreaker showdown if the game ends tied
The result is a faster, louder game built around the fans.

How to Get Tickets
Tickets are sold through a lottery, not first come, first served.
- Enter the ticket lottery before October 31. The entry link is on the Myrtle Beach Pelicans’ Banana Ball page.
- Wait for the random draw. An entry doesn’t guarantee tickets.
- If you’re selected, buy your tickets. According to news coverage of the 2027 tour, selected fans can buy up to five.
There are two other routes. Booking a hospitality space through the Pelicans is the only way to guarantee access. Season ticket members with a 22-game plan or higher can also get a limited presale, but that offer ends October 31. For details, call the Pelicans at 843-918-6000.
Banana Ball’s Grand Strand Debut
Banana Ball first visited the Grand Strand in March 2026, when the Coconuts played the Party Animals at Brooks Stadium at Coastal Carolina University. In 2027, the tour moves to Myrtle Beach and plays at Pelicans Ballpark for the first time.
Plan Your Banana Ball Trip
Mid-March is the start of spring on the Grand Strand, with lighter crowds than summer. Because lottery winners can buy up to five tickets, expect groups of friends and families traveling together. A rental with room for everyone and a kitchen for easy breakfasts is a good fit.
One tip: you won’t know whether you have tickets until after the draw. Wait until you’re selected before booking, or check the cancellation policy on any rental first.
