Mountains meet the coast this Friday night. Appalachian State heads to Conway to face Coastal Carolina in a Sun Belt Conference matchup at Brooks Stadium, just inland from the Grand Strand. It’s a Carolinas rivalry with real history, and a great reason to turn a game night into a beach weekend.
Conference Rivals, Regional Showdown
Both programs compete in the Sun Belt Conference, so this game counts in the standings, not just in bragging rights. It’s also a true regional matchup: Coastal Carolina plays on the South Carolina coast, and Appalachian State comes down from Boone, in the North Carolina mountains.
