Myrtle Stays was founded on family values, passion for hospitality, and a deep love for the Grand Strand. What began as a personal story of two people falling in love and even celebrating their wedding along the shores of Myrtle Beach grew into a mission: to share that same joy with others through exceptional vacation rentals and trusted property management services.
Our Story
Founders Missy and Thomas Alcock experienced firsthand the challenges of owning and managing condos from a distance. They quickly discovered that not all property management companies in Myrtle Beach were created equal. Many lacked the personal touch, transparency, and commitment to cleanliness that owners and guests deserve. Out of this need, Myrtle Stays Vacation Rentals was born — a company dedicated to honest service, hands-on care, and reliable results.
With years of experience in both hospitality and healthcare, Missy brought her background in nursing and her natural sense of care into hosting. Thomas combined his operational expertise with a strong drive to build a management company where every guest feels at home and every owner feels confident that their investment is protected.
