North Myrtle Beach has a new signature event on the calendar. NMB Live! offers a full day of music, food, and family fun on Main Street. It preserves the tradition of the city’s long-running festivals while expanding the format.
This marks the North Myrtle Beach Main Street Festival. The name signals community pride and evolving celebration of local talent. Organizers plan to build on history with music, food, and activities for all ages.

What Is NMB Live!?
NMB Live! is the City of North Myrtle Beach’s newest festival. It takes over Main Street with three stages of live music, over 150 vendors, a Kids’ Zone, and food trucks.
It’s the successor to the Irish Italian International Festival, which drew about 15,000 attendees annually during its 21-year run. Now, North Myrtle Beach Main Street Festival aims to be a bigger production while keeping the same community street-party spirit.
When and Where
- Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
- Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Location: Main Street, North Myrtle Beach (Ocean Drive district)
- Admission and parking: Both free
- Weather policy: Rain or shine, unless the forecast includes unsafe conditions
What to Expect
Three stages will run live music throughout the day, anchored by Yacht Rock Radio featuring American Idol alum Carsen Webb. Whiskey Run, Tokyo Joe, Spare Change, and Trae Pierce & The T-Stones will also perform.
Additionally, beyond the music, expect fire dancers, live speed art, and roaming street performers. The festival features over 150 vendors selling coastal art, jewelry, beach-house decor, and local food. This mirrors North Myrtle Beach Main Street Festival in its family-friendly focus.
The dedicated Kids’ Zone gives parents a spot to post up for a while, with rides, games, and family-friendly activities built into the schedule.
Getting There
Free parking and shuttle service are available for the event, with the city releasing full street closure and shuttle details ahead of the festival. Since Main Street closes to regular traffic for the day, it’s worth planning to walk, bike, or use the shuttle rather than driving straight to the festival footprint.
Make It Part of Your Trip
Late September is one of the better-kept secrets on the Grand Strand — warm water, thinner crowds, and lower rental rates than peak summer, which makes it an easy weekend to build a trip around.
