How do I check in?

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Your personalized door code and detailed instructions are sent approximately 30 minutes before your scheduled check-in time once all pre-arrival requirements have been completed.


What time is check-out?

Check-out is 10:00 AM. Late check-out may be available for an additional fee if requested and approved the day before departure depending on the season and cleaning schedules.


Is early check-in available?

Sometimes. Early check-in depends on our cleaning schedule and occupancy. If available, it can usually be purchased the day before your arrival.


Do I need to sign a rental agreement?

Yes. All reservations require completion of our secure rental agreement and damage protection process through CHARGEautomation. This includes payment of the mandatory non-refundable damage protection fee, which covers up to $1,000 in accidental damage. The agreement should be completed within one hour of booking.


What is the damage protection fee?

The damage protection fee is a mandatory, non-refundable fee that provides coverage for up to $1,000 of accidental damage during your stay. It is not a security deposit and due within 1-hour of booking.


Will I receive a security deposit hold?

No. Myrtle Stays uses a damage protection program instead of collecting a traditional security deposit for most reservations.


How many parking passes are included?

Parking varies by property. Each listing specifies the number of parking passes included. Please review your property's details before arrival.


Are motorcycles, trailers, golf carts, or RVs allowed?

Many resorts prohibit motorcycles, trailers, golf carts, RVs, and oversized vehicles. Please review your property's parking restrictions before booking.


Are pets allowed?

Most Myrtle Stays properties do not allow pets due to resort regulations. ADA-qualified service animals are welcome where required by law.  ESA can be disqualified from resort policies and could be a term of resort eviction.


Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking or vaping is prohibited inside units and on balconies where resort rules prohibit it. Additional cleaning fees may apply if smoking occurs inside the property.


What is provided in the condo?

Each property includes a fully equipped kitchen, linens, bath towels, Wi-Fi, and basic household essentials. Amenities vary by property and are listed on each individual listing.


Do you provide coffee or condiments?

No. Coffee, filters, creamer, sugar, cooking oil, spices, and condiments are not provided because guests have different preferences and dietary needs.


Are beach towels provided?

No. Bath towels are provided for indoor use only. Please bring your own beach towels. We supply only the amount of towels for the occupancy of the stay and towels and linens would need to be refreshed by the guest at the resort laundry area or in-unit washer/dryer if available.


Will toiletries be provided?

A very limited starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap, and similar essentials is provided. Guests staying longer should plan to purchase additional supplies.


Is daily housekeeping included?

No. Your property is professionally cleaned before arrival, but daily housekeeping is not included unless specifically arranged.


What if something isn't working?

Please notify us as soon as possible. Our team will work quickly to resolve maintenance issues during your stay.


What if I arrive and notice a problem?

Please inspect the property upon arrival and report any concerns within the first hour so we can address them promptly.


Is Wi-Fi included?

Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is included in all Myrtle Stays properties.


Can I have packages delivered?

Some resorts accept deliveries while others do not. Please contact us before shipping packages to your vacation rental.


Are parties allowed?

No. Parties, events, excessive noise, and unauthorized guests are strictly prohibited.


What are the quiet hours?

Quiet hours are generally 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, although some resorts may have additional rules.


Can friends visit during my stay?

Only registered guests are permitted unless prior approval has been given.


What happens if I lose my key or door code?

Most Myrtle Stays properties use electronic locks. Contact us immediately if you experience any issues accessing your property.


Do you offer travel insurance?

Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, weather events, illness, or travel interruptions.


What happens if a hurricane is forecast?

Weather-related cancellations are handled according to the cancellation policy associated with your reservation. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
